Claimer Keeley completes his first ever treble to take the honours at Epsom

Claimer Aidan Keeley had a day he will never forget after completing his first ever treble in the saddle.

The 23-year-old had to work hard on all three rides, with all horses winning by just a short head.

Keeley started the first part of the treble with victory on the top weight Early Morning Dew for Lewes trainer Jim & Suzi Best.

Thirty five minutes later, Keeley held on to win the 1m handicap aboard Hello Cotai for local trainer Adam West.

To cap an outstanding day for the claimer, he steered Dream Of Mischief  first past the post in the finale, after getting the better of Pat Cosgrave on board Marlay Park.

It certainly proved to be a wonderful day for the claimers with Gina Mangan getting to within one winner of riding out her claim after steering Graduated to victory in the 7f maiden fillies stakes.

Graduated could be set for a second quick turnaround as connections consider taking a shot at York’s £500,000 sales race just six days on from her first success at Epsom following her victory.

The two-year-old was continuing a fine season for Midlands trainers Richard Newland & Jamie Insole, who have now had 16 winners over the flat this year.

Just a week on from finishing second at Yarmouth, the 6-4 shot made every yard to hold off favourite Creative Lady by three and a quarter lengths and it was also a first success at the home of the Derby for all involved.
