This week on the Dance Music show I have two guest mixes from local DJ and producer, DJ KLASH. In case you’ve not heard about him, here’s his biog:
DJ KLASH started his musical journey in 1996 when he was 14, religiously spending every Friday night listening to Pete Tong’s essential selection on the Radio1. It was at this moment that KLASH knew he wanted to be part of The Dance Music Scene. Feeling inspired, and after acquiring his first set of turntables and a mixer he started making his own mixes.
In 1999 / 2001 DJ KLASH was well known for delivering only the freshest Underground Garage and House music to the masses … He was known for playing both big room commercial anthems and also playing and promoting tracks from relatively unknown EDM artists, and white label Tracks. This is the variety Which ultimately lead to DJ KLASH breaking through as a headline act, rather than a warm up DJ.
Moving to today musical direction and roots remain unchanged. DJ KLASH Specialises in delivering eclectic sets using EDM tracks that cross over several dance music genres, from Garage to Deep/Tech/Progressive House & current commercial EDM anthems from both large and small labels. DJ KLASH’s audience are taken on a dance music journey.
So listen in on this Friday, 6pm to 8pm on Radio Woking!
