The We Love Woking Show 17/8/16 – The York Road Project Sleep Out

On tonight’s show,  we welcome back Cath Stamper from The York Road Project!

Cath Stamper will be joined by Sarah Fox, who runs their move on properties.  Tonight we’ll be talking about  the Sleep Out they are organising for Friday 26th August, to raise awareness for the real lives in sleeping bags, and the charity.

As well as that, we’ll hearing the latest developments at the project and also find out more about what happens at The Prop on Goldsworth Road.  Cath and Sarah have also chosen some songs and we’ll be hearing these in between our chat.

If you’re interested in joining the Sleep Out…..places are limited, and closing date for entry is 19th August, so get in there quick. You can email the project for more information and to register on –

In the second hour, we’ll be talking about more events and happenings from around the area, and we’ll be having a phone in with Manager Caroline about this weekend’s ‘Style Me In Seconds’ event running Friday 19th & Saturday 20th August at Woking and Sam Beare Hospices Shop on Commercial Way in the town Centre! For a Free makeover and a Free style consultation from a professional stylist.

My Radio Show Co Pilot – Jackie Witney, who is now a fully trained, IVER Academy  Hair and Make Up Artist will also be on hand to help you out, so pop down and say hi! You will need to book your places, either in advance….or on the day you can visit the WSB Hospices stand in Mercia Walk (near Starbucks) and book yourself in.
