Jockey Tadhg O’Shea rode his first winner in Britian for ten months after partnering Miss Dubai to victory in the opening race at Lingfield Park on Monday afternoon.

The 42-year-old guided the three-year-old filly to stay on and win comfortably by three and a quarter lengths from Heckmondwike. O’Shea will now head off to Ascot at the weekend to captain Great Britian and Ireland in this year’s Shergar Cup.

Trainer Denis Coakley was bringing up his second winner from the last seven runners after Party Island was successful at Sandown last month.

The last time both Daisy Roots and We’renotreallyhere met was at Salisbury eight day’s ago when Daisy Roots got the better of We’renotreallyhere by half a length. Today the Daniel Steele trained four-year-old turned the tables on Daisy Roots by edging out Adam West’s consistent four-year-old by a neck.

Top weight Diamond Dreamer won the five furlong handicap under Tom Marquand after seeing off Chiedozie by one and a half lengths. The four-year-old benefited for the drop down in trip after his last two disappointing runs.

Simon & Ed Crisford maintained their impressive strike rate at the moment of 23% with five wins from their last 22 runners after Apotheosis took the seven furlongs novice race from Faro Di Notte.
