It’s 2018 People!
Despite what many would have you believe It’s been a fantastic year for music, so I thought I’d see out the old year by looking back at some of my favourite tracks that were released during 2017. It’s not a definitive list however, I simply couldn’t fit in all my choices, so this is very much a ‘best of the best’, if you see what I mean!
Huge thanks to everyone who has contributed in some way to the ‘Crossing The Tracks’ show over the last 12 months, all the lovely distributors and promotions companies, and all the artists who simply contacted me direct with their own music. Producer Lorna of course, who has been busier than ever each week!
Most of all, thank you to everyone who has listened, and understood the ethos of the show, that all music is valid, as long as it means something to somebody, and there’s nothing more exciting than the buzz of discovering something that’s new to you, whether it’s actually ancient or brand new. Here’s to another year of daring to venture over the tracks from familiar ground into unknown musical territory…
Happy New Year!
