THE VIEW FROM HERE – Brexit? International School community projects, Wintershall – The Life of Christ.

Sunday 12th June 2016

9am – 12noon

9am – Dr. Kirsten Johnson is a member of the Liberal Democrat Christian Forum. She will be presenting us with a Christian view of the Brexit debate and her own reasons for voting remain.

10am – Richard Parker and pupils from the International School in Woking join us to tell us about their community engagement projects. Being involved in community projects is a key part of the Baccalaureate that pupils study for. They will be giving us personal stories and insights into a trip to Morocco with “Traveleyes” acting as guides to those with visual impairment.

11am – James Burke Dunsmore and Charlotte De Klee will speak about the highs and lows of organising the Wintershall Passion Plays summer production The Life of Christ. James has played Jesus for the past 18 years with Wintershall and has appeared as Christ in over 60 productions on stage, radio and TV. Charlotte produces the plays which take place on the estate originally owned by her parents. The play runs from Tuesday 21st – Sunday 26th June.
