Woking Set For FA Cup clash with Peterborough United or Tranmere Rovers

WOKING will face Peterborough United or Tranmere Rovers in the second round of the FA Cup, that’s if they beat Bury in next week’s replay.

The Cards secured a 1-1 draw with their League One coutnerparts on Sunday after Jamie Philpot equalised after Michael Smith’s opener after just 42 seconds.

Anthony Limbrick’s side will travel to Gigg Lane next Tuesday with the prospect of facing either Posh or fellow National League side Tranmere Rovers, who drew 1-1 at the weekend.

Should they face Peterborough United, Woking may come up against former team-mate Jack Marriott, but the Cards must get past managerless Bury next week.
