On Tonight’s #WeLoveWoking Show…

We’re learning about Andy’s Community Café based at St Andrew’s Church in the heart of Goldsworth Park.

Joining us are Rev Kate Wyles, Amanda Smith & Mary Incorvaia the cafe managers, and Shani Orchard who manages food collections from the supermarkets.

They use food which would soon be thrown away to make delicious meals which they serve on a ‘Pay as you feel’ basis, paying as much or as little as you feel able….no questions asked.

We’ll hear about how the idea came about, all the hard work that goes into running the cafe, mentioning all those involved, and how they serve the community. The ladies have all chosen a song each too, and we’ll hear these between our chat.

In the 2nd hour, more Woking chat, including local half term events, the latest adventures of Woking FC , men’s & ladies, and much more.

Also a special shout out for Alex Band and how one particular song has had a massive influence in making We Love Woking what it is.
