The We Love Woking Show – Mrs Jean Howard

60+ years of memories of living in St Johns?

Tonight our guest is ‘Mrs Howard’ born in 1932 she will be sharing some of her many memories with us.

Did you know that cows used to walk down Hermitage Road (Winston Churchill School) to St johns to be milked?

She took some persuading, but we are delighted that our regular listener (also Jackie’s mum) has agreed to join us in the studio.
We’ll be going down memory lane with Jean, and also talking to her about her creative talents of which she has many.

It’s going to be interesting, it’s going to be fun and we hope you can join us.

We’ll also have other local chat, and a first time airing of ‘its Christmas time’ by local artist Northern Star.
ALSO we will be joined on the phone at 9.30 by Cath from the York Road Project and you can find out how you can help and make a difference to a homeless person in Woking.

Message us with your memories, news and announcements.

Join us 8-10pm Tonight, and EVERY Wednesday on Radio Woking.
