A few weeks ago, we had a phone in chat on the show with Steve Chalmers from The Basingstoke Canal Society about the return of Kitty and their boat trips. We promised him then that we would get him in the studio sometime to talk more about the great work they all do.
That time is now!
Steve will be joining us, along with his colleague Ian Moore, and there is lots to talk about, including, their Summer Programme, trips on Kitty, Cream teas, The Lightbox, Kiwi & Scot, a little canal history, the work carried out by the society, their amazing volunteers and lots more.
Steve and Ian have chosen their three songs each, and we’ll be hearing these inbetween our chat.
