Ascension Day Thursday 14th is an ecumenical feast in the Christian religion. We shall consider its significance to all Christians.
From 11th – 17th May it is Mental Health Awareness Week. We look at aspects of mental health and the challenges we all face.
9am – Sean Larkin joins us to explore the celebration of the Ascension one of the most significant feasts of the Christian calendar
10am – Andrew Joseph tells us about his former work as a social worker and the problems he encountered in supporting people with Mental Health issues. He will also give some insight into his own struggle with depression.
11am – Sue Jackson is a chartered psychologist with a particular interest in the links between mental and physical health. The difference between a ‘visible’ illness and an ‘invisible’ condition gives rise to many common misunderstandings.
