Newmarket trainer T.J Kent was full of praise for jockey Ray Dawson after bringing up his sixth winner since his return to the saddle on Mister Mojito in the 7f handicap at the Surrey track.
Dropping down in class after running at Newmarket 17 days ago, Dawson went to the front at the 2f pole and went clear inside the final furlong to win by one and three quarter lengths from Sonmarg.
The 30-year-old rider returned back to the saddle in May after a six month ban for testing positive for cocaine.
Sir Mark Prescott continued his purple patch after notching up his fourth consecutive winner when saddling Orbital to victory in the 1m 2f handicap with Luke Morris aboard.
Leading flat jockey Oisin Murphy started the day 21 winners clear of Rossa Ryan, and immediately increased his total when winning on the Roger Varian trained Fox Vision.
Course winner Dutch Kingdom returned back to winning ways when taking the 1m handicap under 5lb claimer Liam Wright.
The gelding had the cheekpieces back on after the visor was used in his previous run at Newbury.
The finale on the card went to the Gary & Josh Moore trained six-year-old Big Bard under Paddy Bradley in the 6f handicap for four year olds and upwards.
