This week we consider the new moon eclipse and the upcoming Spring Equinox, the World Wildlife Fund’s Earth Hour and the plight of owls in Woking.
9am – Toni Allen, professional astrologer, tells us about the importance of this month’s new moon which caused a solar eclipse on Wednesday 9th March. We also look forward to the upcoming Spring Equinox, the start of the astrological year on Sunday 20th March.
10am – Jennifer Clements informs us about the World Wildlife Fund’s “Earth Hour” which takes place on Saturday 19th March at 8.30pm. If you have never joined in before, now is the time to do so. 10.30am Sharon will tell us about various events happening in Woking including the celebration of H.G. Wells “The War of the Worlds”
11am – David Askew is a member of Woking LA21 and specialises in the well being of owls. He will talk us through the various projects going on in the area to protect and encourage owls to survive in our locality. https://wokingla21.wordpress.com
