Neil Callan enjoyed a Friday he will never forget by riding a fantastic 367-1 four timer in the Esher sunshine on Molson Coors Afternoon Flat Racing Day at Sandown Park.
The former Bahrain Champion jockey started the day off by steering exciting juvenile Kullazain to victory to win by four lengths for trainer James Tate.
Callan, was soon back in the winners enclose in the next race after riding the six-year-old Four Adaay to victory in the 5f handicap.
The 39-year-old had to wait for the penultimate race on the card before bringing up his treble, aboard Come On You Spurs. The three-year-old went one better than her previous outing after being held up before being switched over 2f out before leading entering the final furlong to stay on well to beat Rich by a length and a half.
To cap a memorable day, Callan had the last word by riding the 11-8 favourite Tipsy Tiger to victory in the 1m 2f handicap for West Wickham trainer William Stone.
Elsewhere, jockey Kieran Shoemark rode a double with the 13-8 favourite Corriamo taking the 1m nursery handicap before steering the 7-1 shot Darkness to victory in the Class 3 7f handicap.
Corriamo made it a hat trick of wins, following on from his success at the course 13 days ago over the shorter distance of 7f.
