Match Preview: Woking vs Ebbsfleet United – Vanarama National League

Woking are trying to end their horrible winless league run this Tuesday evening at the Laithwaite Community Stadium.
The Cards haven’t won a league game since the 1-0 triumph against Dagenham and Redbridge in early October, a mere six weeks ago. They have improved recently with a four match unbeaten run after 3 straight defeats.
The fabulous win 3-0 win away at Bury in the FA Cup looks to have got a feel good factor back. The Cards fought back to claim a point against Maidenhead on Saturday which manager Anthony Limbrick was satisfied with.
He said “we were tired, we had alot of trouble with Halifax and Bury so we will definitely take the point. I’m really happy with the point.”
Nathan Baxter missed Saturdays game with a knock, Jason Banton still has a hamstring injury and Nathan Ralph was suspended after picking up a booking the win over Bury. Louis Ramsay should be back next week along with Lazar Stojsavljevic who has been ill.
The visitors this evening are Ebbsfleet who got promoted last season to the Vanarama National League for the fourth time in their history with after a dramatic final day fightback at Stonebridge Road against Chelmsford City.
Manager Daryl McMahon will be delighted with how his team have started this season and they currently sit 12th. Ebbsfleet have scored their fair share of goals this season, they have prolific striker in Danny Kedwell, with the Englishman scoring eight goals this season.
Woking and Ebbsfleet have a big history, Woking have won more than they have lost. The most recent game was game was last season in the last 32 of the FA trophy when the Cards lost 1-0 to Ebbsfleet with Kenny Clark opening the scoring just after the restart. After a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
