On Tonight’s We Love Woking Show…….
As we approach 2017, it’s a time to reflect on the year past. So this evening, it is a pleasure to be joined by local Writer and Comic Timothy Buckler on this Mission!
Back in September he wrote a post, (Warning Contains Colourful Language)
‘The Cigarette Hunter and the Social Cleansing of Woking Town.’
Although very funny to read, it had a serious underlying message. It is a great observation on many aspects of the town, including the new Market Walk! Tonight we’ll be talking the post and some of it’s contents, which resonated with many.
We’ll also be learning more about Tim, his Stand Up, his Youtube Channel and what he has in store for us in the new year. Tim has also chosen some fantastic music, and we’ll be playing this throughout the show. He is also a huge fan of films and Superheroes ……his favourite being Superman (Just like me!). So we’ll be talking lots about that and – Tim’s Fortress of Solitude, a place where you can keep up with this genius.
Both being huge Star Wars fans, in the second hour, we’ll be reviewing Rogue One – a Star Wars story! The fans have had long enough to see it, so we’ll finally be breaking the silence and talking about it.
And it will be slightly sad, as Princess Leia – The Real ‘People’s Princess’, has recently become One with The Force.
We’ll be looking back over the year and all the other Heroes & Legends that also left us.
So for 2 hours of fun local chat, Superhero’s, Star Wars, events and happenings and plenty of music….
