On Tonight’s We Love Woking Show….

Something to get your mouth-watering  – From Friday 1st  to Sunday 3rd September, the award-winning Woking Food and Drink Festival returns!

Riette Thomas from Woking Council joins us in the studio to tell us what’s in store for visitors over the three days as Woking town centre transforms into food and drink Heaven.  We’ll be hearing about the celebrity and local chef food demonstrations, the bite size talks, celebrity book signings, the kids activities on offer, the live music entertainment and lots more! Riette has also chosen three songs and we’ll be playing these between our chat.

In the second hour, we have more local chat with some events and happenings to tell you about including The Lightbox  Photographic Open Competition…..not long left to enter!

Also this week, there is a special Thank You message for a very kind AA Recovery driver – Tony ‘F’ Russell, who came to the rescue of one of our team…..who did they save?? You’ll have to tune in and hear the story……you couldn’t make it up!

Plus we’ll have lots more music and our usual random chat about all things Woking…..and whatever else may pop into our heads!
