On Tonight’s We Love Woking Show……..

Something that is always in the news – the plight of the Syrian refugee’s.  We are normally fed lots of negative stuff about them from the mainstream media.

But tonight we’re joined by Shan Abdul Qayyum, a Woking guy who is involved with ‘Khidma, Without Borders’ an organisation to help the refugee’s.  Having already sent over a consignment of Winter clothing and food, Shan is going on an Aid Mission from 1st-8th December to Northern Greece to help distribute it all to the refugee’s at a camp in Thessaloniki.

We’ll be hearing about how Khidma started and about all the fantastic people involved in the organisation and the work they do.  Plus as with all of our guests, Shan has also chosen 3 great songs, and we’ll be hearing these in between our chat.

In the second hour, we have more local chat with Tanya and myself, plus LOADS of events and happenings from around the area!  Including Woking and Sam Beare Hospices Santa Fun Run, Horsell Christmas Fair, Love What We Do’s Christmas Market and Pamper Night, The Lightbox’s Joke in The Box and a few more.
