Leading up to Christmas, we continue with our look at local businesses around the #Woking area and their importance to our community.

First up this week at 6pm, We’re joined by Aykut Akar from ‘Poppins Restaurant’ in Commercial Way.

His family have run this fantastic little restaurant in the heart of Woking for many many years. We’ll be learning about how it all began, their team, what’s on the menu, the importance of knowing your customers and community and much more.

At 7pm, we continue the food theme with something that has sent Woking a bit viral lately.

He bakes fresh pizza to order from his van, situated in Lion Retail Park in Maybury.

We’ll hear what inspired him to get started, his background in the business, his delicious looking menu, kids pizza classes and his plans for the future.
