The WLW Show 03/5/17 – The Show that wasn’t meant to be/Local Events & Chat

On Tonight’s We Love Woking Show….

As mentioned last week, there was not meant to be a show this evening as there was going to be a Live Broadcast from an event…..but that all changed and I was told I could do the show, if I wanted to.

How could I resist???  So although there is no guest this week, and no co-host as Jackie had made other plans (she’ll be back next Weds) – Tonight I will be bringing you a ‘Random Night with Zahir’.

I have lots of local events to mention, including Surrey History Centre Open Day, Woking and Sam Beare Hospices Midnight Walk, Phoenix Rising, Chelsea Legends V Woking & Ockham Vets Charity Football Match for Shooting Star Chase….

Celebrate Woking’s Summer Sounds, Football Trials at Woking FC and Woking Amateur Operatic Society’s ‘Kiss Me Kate’ on now at The Rhoda Mcgaw Theatre!

Last week I went to The Lightbox for their ‘Joke in The Box’ and will be giving my verdict on it….. and the comedians, Joz Norris, Richard Todd and Woking’s own Danny Buckler! Plus an update on Hope for Alix, more local chat, and other random stuff that just pops into my head while I’m on air!

There will also be an abundance of the most important ingredient, in Radio and Life in general, and that is of course MUSIC!

So Join me Tonight from 8-10pm here on Radio Woking!
