REPLAY: We Love Woking Show 3rd March

On this week’s show…

Our first guest is a former Deputy Head of Bishop David Brown School, John Reed.
He speaks to us about his time there and a recent situation at the site of the school, where two memorial trees, he helped plant in memory of students at the school who passed away, have been removed, to make way for a car park. News which has shocked and upset him, the local community, and also many former pupils from the school.

Our next guest is Gary Cheeseman of Gary’s Garden Maintenance.

Like many in lockdown, Gary decided to take the leap and start his own business. We chat about the services he provides, his background and lots more.

The final guest for you this week is Vangelis Mathaiopoulous, who along with his business partner Pierre started up Delightfully Greek , serving Woking with delicious Greek street food.

We learn more about them, their menu and how the local community has really helped them get off the ground.

Plus a look around at other local news, including Woking FC getting through to the Semi Finals of the Buildbase FA Trophy.

Weaving all that together is a great selection of music for you, including song choices from our guests.

Join us Wednesday 6-8pm on Radio Woking.
