Woking – We need your help!

A few weeks ago, we mentioned Woking Age Concern and their Urgent Appeal to raise funds to keep their doors open.

We’ll be joined by Shiela McAree and Rose Joyce, who both work for this fantastic local charity, and we’ll be learning about their appeal, and why it’s so important they raise the funds needed to keep going.

They’ll tell us more about their roles, their clients, volunteers and all the work they do, providing friendship, support and help to our elderly, all over the Woking area.

Last week, it was a pleasure to be invited to the first of their Coffee Clubs and meet some of their regular clients, to learn how Woking Age Concern help them. I’ll be giving them a big mention, they’re so cool.

Shiela and Rose, and their clients have chosen some great music, and we’ll hear this inbetween our chat.
