Over the years we’ve featured many of our wonderful local charities on the show.
After seeing a leaflet of their Urgent Appeal to raise funds to prevent them closing, I popped down to The Haven Cafe at The Moorcroft Centre, to meet Jackie Crouch, Sheila McAree and Rose Joyce of Woking Age Concern , another fantastic local charity, to find out more about them and they work they do.
We spoke about so much, and this evening I’ll be talking about what I’ve learnt and why it’s vital to help this much needed charity, continue doing what they do, especially in these times.
With the best local chat and events, all joined together by some fantastic music.
