This week we look at a variety of subjects from finances to literature and the month of Ramadan

9.00 – Valerie Walwyn is CEO of Surrey Save a credit union based in Sheerwater. We shall discuss the benefits of credit unions and the ethical and social issues this form of finance addresses.

10.00 – Kauser Akhtar joins us to explain the month of Ramadan which begins on 18th of June. We shall hear about the religious meaning and purpose behind this period of fasting.

11.00 – Brian Smith will be in the studio to talk about the life and times of W.B. Yeats as we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the poet’s birth on 13th June 1865.
