Wasps held the lead at the end of the second quarter by leading by nine goals at 26-17. A change due to injury saw Rachel Dunn leave the court to be replaced by Jamaican international Gezelle Allison.
Storm bought on Frankie Wells at the start of the third period with Wasps also making a number of changes including Ella Powell-Davies for Captain Sophia Candappa. At the end of the third quarter Wasps had a comfortable ten goal advantage 37-27.
Storm to their credit never gave up but couldn’t handle the excellent shooting of Dunn and Katie Harris. Dunn scored 17 goals with Harris hitting 23.
