Thank you for all the kind words of support for the loss of our presenter, Lara McNamee. We have been overwhelmed with the support of all our listeners and radio and media family at this difficult time.

Lara’s fiancée, Jon Andrews, set up a fundraiser in her honour for The Sunnybank Trust. We are really pleased that so far the fundraiser has reached an amazing £3,947!

This money will help people with learning disabilities in creating a new allotment. Lara had a great way of including and listening to people with learning disabilities, so this is a great legacy for her, and a wonderful way of saying “thank you” for all that she has done.
