Languages, singing and well being – THE VIEW FROM HERE

9am – Susan Stewart is head of languages at the International School of London in Surrey. Based near the Hoe Bridge Golf Club in Woking, the school is home to 28 student nationalities, 35 staff nationalities, 17 spoken languages and 20 taught languages. 10am – Bea Martin joins us to celebrate Beltane the Celtic May Day. This is a potently powerful time of year as nature awakes after winter and we celebrate the promised fertility of the land for the year ahead. Be a is also co-hosting a project with Susan Hale. “Singing for the Trees” links us to our natural surroundings, gives thanks to nature and celebrates trees in particular.

11am – David Stevens is the founder of Chirokinetic Therapy which links chiropractic approaches to kinesiology. We shall consider how and why these complementary therapies are beneficial to our well-being.
