This week I am very lucky to be talking to two legends of music. John Ellis will be joining me in the studio to present some of his favourite songs, talk about his life in music working and writing in major projects and with major collaborators that changed the landscape of UK music – giving the Sex Pistols their first support slot when in his band Bazooka Joe with Adam Ant, founding The Vibrators, time in The Stranglers, working with Peter Gabriel and so much more – his commitment to grass roots music, providing blues workshops around the country as well as his short stories and newly published novels. Gary Fletcher from The Paul Jones Blues Band will be joining me on the telephone to talk about the history and current tour of one of Britain’s best loved and most longstanding blues partnerships.
