As we now take our first steps into the new year The View From Here celebrates how journeys have shaped our lives.

9.00 We begin with Steve Green explaining the mystery of Epiphany and the travels of the three kings or wise men to the stable in Bethlehem. The revelation was given to the Magi that Jesus was indeed the son of God and the saviour.

10.00 Kauser Akhtar will explain the significance of Mawlid al-nabi, the festival celebrating the birth of The Prophet Muhammad which takes place over Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd January 2015.

11.00 A journey of a different sort, tracing the steps of Andy Joseph as he followed the sacred El Camino pilgrimage trail across northern Spain. We shall share the highs and lows of undertaking a life changing journey.
