THE VIEW FROM HERE – Ascension Day, Brigitte Trust, Mount Felix Tapestry

9am – Sean Larkin joins us to explore the message and themes behind the Christian celebration of Ascension Day. 

10am – Vanessa is a member of the Brigitte Trust, an independent charity supporting those with a life-threatening illness. Free assistance is offered in the home providing both practical help and emotional support to both the person with the diagnosis and their families. www.brigittetrust.org

11am – Emily Boulting is Director of the Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre in Walton-on-Thames. She will be telling us about a recent exhibition of an ongoing project concerning the Mount Felix hospital. This was a WWI hospital for New Zealand troops set up in Walton-on-Thames.
