This week we celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh (12th November 1817) and learn about the Bahai faith. We also consider the message of peace and goodwill to all that the Ahmadiyya Muslim community highlight as the heart of  Islamic teachings.

9am – Simon Tricks is a member of the Woking Baha’i faith group.  He will tell us about the life and times of The Barb and of Bahá’u’lláh the founding fathers of the Baha’i faith. Founded in Teheran in times of upheaval, discrimination and violent suppression the Baha’i faith holds inclusivity at the centre of its teachings “Let your vision be world embracing…” www.bahai.org

10am – Ahsan Ahmedi is a representative of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was conceived in 1889. Its foundational precepts are those of peace and understanding as taught by Mohammed (peace be upon him) with the basic tenet that the one God created all. 11am – Sharon introduces contemplative readings, music and events organised in the locality for National Interfaith week 15th – 21st November.
