This week’s programme looks at various events going on in the region. As well as celebrating Eid and Jagannath we hear from the Christian boys’ group ‘See Why’

9am – Sharon introduces the celebration of Eid and then tells us about a variety of events going on in the region including a labyrinth walk/talk at The Princess Alice Hospice, meditation research at Surrey University, talk at the Humanist Association in Farnham.

10am – we are joined by Devdan Sen who explains the importance and significance of Jagannath Rath Yatra a Hindu festival which takes place in Puli, Orissa in India and is also celebrated by devotees of Krishna around the world.

11am – ‘See Why’ boys’ Christian group joins us from their meeting place at The Winston Churchill School. They explain what it is to be a young Christian.
