Birth, baptism and early years

This week The View From Here celebrates Radio Woking’s first birthday by taking a look at birth, baptism and early years.

We welcome the Christian Churches of Woking who will tell us of the importance of baptism along with news of their projects to help young families and children in the area.

Elizabeth Duff Senior Policy Adviser to the National Childbirth Trust will join us with information about the assistance that the NCT gives to both expectant mothers and following the birth. She will also explain how the NCT can help you in Woking.

To round off we are joined by Alex Trenoweth a secondary school teacher who has used her hobby of astrology to inform her teaching practices, gaining better results both academically and behaviourally from her pupils. She has published a book on the subject as well as writing a dissertation on Christianity and Astrology. Quite coincidentally she herself is getting baptised this week!

We hope you will join us at the usual time.
