Modernism is a great supporter of worthy causes in the Woking area and they have lined up a fantastic event in Bisley. Radio Woking are proud to support the work that Modernism are doing and will host several features in the lead up to the event as media partners.

ModernisM at the Pavilion is a celebration of the finest Mod, Soul, Funk and Rock’Roll the UK has to offer right now. ModernisM and Holroyd Events have teamed up to provide a full day and evening schedule of tip-top bands and DJs for you to see, sing and boogie along to.

We’ve been building the night nicely around Surrey for the last few years, recently taking residence at the wonderful Boileroom in Guildford. With this event, we have pushed the boat out in terms of artists and production values – and would love for you to join us! We have secured the nationally acclaimed Bisley Pavilion main hall – a venue steeped in UK soul history.

We are using the very best in sound, light and security to ensure a world class gig experience for yours truly.

Finally, the artists we have managed to secure are the best to date. The event will be closed by Mr. Funk and Soul himself Craig Charles – delivering a 2 hour funk and soul set until our late 2am finish. In the lead up to this, there will be performances from Smoove & Turrell, The Stone Foundation, New Street Adventure, The Tapestry and many more besides.
